Record smashed by 40 seconds
Rachael Franklin has won gold and set a new Island Games record for the second night in a row.
In the women's 5,000m, she recorded a time of 16:05.80 to win the event.
The previous record stood at 16:45.06 and was set in 2017 by Anna Tait from Orkney.
Last night, Rachael won gold and broke the Island Games record in the women's 1,500m.
She now holds the Island Games records for 800m, 1,500m and 5,000m.
