Island player finishes just outside top 20 in London
Isle of Man professional golfer, Ana Dawson produced the best performance of her career so far on the Ladies European Tour (LET) last week.
Competing in the PIF London Championship from 6-9 August, the former Peel player managed an overall score of four-under-par at the Centurion Club to finish in 21st place in the standings.
Furthermore, Dawson finished under-par in three of the four rounds with the fourth and final phase including an eagle on the 18th hole as well as five birdies.
On top of that, Dawson's display saw her earn just under £25,000 in prize money from the meeting.
Her previous best finish on a full LET event came earlier this season where she claimed 24th place at seven-under-par in the Joburg Ladies Open in South Africa in April.
This week, Dawson returns to action on the tour where she's scheduled to take part in the VP Swiss Ladies Open which starts tomorrow (13 August) and runs until Saturday (15 August).
