Island rider says he has no fractures after NW200 crash

Isle of Man rider, Grant Thomson says he will be back racing next week after a change in diagnosis on an injury sustained at the North West 200.

Last week, the Manxman was initially told he'd sustained an ankle fracture after a crash in a Superstock qualifying session at the Northern Ireland meeting.

Now, however, he's taken to social media to say - following further checks - no broken bones have in fact been identified and therefore has had his cast removed.

As a result, Thomson intends to return to racing at the Pre-TT Classic Road Races on the Billown Course from Friday, 23 May to Sunday, 25 May.

Following the update, the competitor is also thanking his family and team for their support in recent days.
