
12 year-old Callan Cooper leads the British Mini Masters Motocross Championship 85c.c. small wheel class after the opening round at Culham near Abingdon in Oxfordshire.
The youngster from Ballaugh claimed 4 emphatic wins riding his K.T.M. for the Hardcore Racing team.
When the small and big wheel classes combined for a 40-strong field race, Cooper rode well against older riders to finish 5th.
Another Ballaugh rider, Darren Fowden finished 3rd in the Amateur MX2 class - his best ever off-island result.
