Eastern side now lead men's and mixed divisions
Report by Mick Hegarty:
All change at the top of the IoM Handball Mixed league with Eastern Titans winning both their games to overtake Northern Thunder. Having played a game more, the Titans have to keep their cool for the remaining two weeks of the season if they are to keep up their thrust for both Mixed and Men’s League Titles.
Andy Burkitt of Eastern Titans retains his top spot in the Men’s Golden hand but is being closed down by Warriors’ Max Greleweicz and Burkitt’s teammate Matty McKeeman.
Two newcomers, Ally Sinclair of Warriors and Northern’s Chris Morton top scored on the night with six and five respectively - In the women’s table Eastern’s Hannah Clayden retains top spot but top scorer with four on the night and moving into the top five was Eastern’s Jess Hawkins.
