Isle of Man tennis player Billy Harris won the opening qualifying round of the US Open last night (24 August).
Harris beat Peruvian Gonzalo Beuno by two sets (6-1, 6-3).
The world 167th will now face Englishman Toby Samuel in the next round in New York tomorrow.
Harris' best result at the American event came in 2025 when he reached the first round.
