The annual Craig Heartstrong Foundation Football match between St. George's and Corinthians takes place on Thursaday evening at Glencrutchery Road - kick-off is at 6.30pm.
The game is in memory of Isle of Man international Craig Lunt who died in early April 2005 from an undetected heart defect.
Craig played his club Football for Corinthians and St. George's.
The Foundation was set-up to fund screening sessions for sports people between the ages of 14 and 35, and any treatment that individuals may require afterwards.
Around a thousand screenings have been made so far - a collection will be made at this evening's friendly.
Another memorial pre-season friendly will take place between Pulrose and St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon.
The two clubs will play as a tribute to former Mayor and Freeman of the Borough of Douglas Alfie Duggan, who passed away earlier this year aged 95.
The combination clash starts at 1.30pm with the first teams kicking-off at 3.30pm.
