Manx-based businessman Trevor Hemmings has revealed Grand National winner Ballabriggs has been holidaying in the Isle of Man in preparation for this year's race.
Mr Hemmings has told an Irish newspaper Ballabriggs spent last summer on the Island, with 2005 National winner Hedgehunter.
The horse is currently in Ireland training for the Aintree race which takes place on April 14, and Mr Hemmings says he has high hopes Ballabriggs can become the first horse since Red Rum to retain his crown.
Hemmings says he will need to get better, but there's definitely been some improvement during training.
