
Manx Gold medal cyclist Peter Kennaugh says he will never forget the hero's welcome he received at Ronaldsway.
Hundreds turned out to greet the Olympian when he arrived back in the Island yesterday, less than 24 hours after he and his three Team GB colleagues won the men’s team pursuit in London.
The 23-year-old from Onchan played a key role in Great Britain’s victory over Australia in the London Velodrome.
And there was a carnival atmosphere to greet him with flags, banners and even an impromptu singing of the Manx National Anthem.
