The 14-time race winner came off his bike at the end of practice week
TT lap record holder Peter Hickman says 'everything is looking promising' after he underwent surgery to tackle a nerve issue affecting his right arm yesterday (25 July).
The 14-time race winner suffered a number of broken bones after coming off his bike at Kerrowmoar during this year's TT qualifying.
In an update on his social media pages, Hickman says the operation 'went as well as it could have, with the best possible outcome'.
However, he confirmed it will 'still be a little while before they know if everything is back to normal or not'.
