Rider looking to 'make amends'
Isle of Man TT star Peter Hickman will return to the Daytona 200 this year.
Hickman will form part of the Triumph factory-supported PHR Performance Team to make his second appearance at the event this March.
He made his debut at the 57 lap, 200-mile race, last year but after starting the race in 12th he was involved in an early incident which saw him plummet down the order.
Hickman said: "Daytona is a really unique place to ride and set the bikes up for and in our first year we had a pretty good year.
"It’s obviously a shame the race didn’t go to plan but we’re looking forward to getting back there and making amends."
The race is now in its 83rd year and attracts riders from all over the world.
