
Manx rally driver David Higgins finished second at the SnoDrift Rally in Michigan at the weekend.
The Rally America Championship winner for the past two years led by 21.3 seconds with two stages remaining at the opening round of the 2013 series.
However, Canadian star Antoine L’Estage took back 19.6 seconds on the penultimate stage to set up a frantic final push for victory.
Higgins was beaten on the last stage and lost out on a win by 6.2 seconds.
