
Manx Rally driver David Higgins is facing a race against time to secure a budget for the 2009 British Rally Championship.
Main sponsor TQ.com has pulled out his FX Motor Sports team blaming the current economic climate.
The 2004 Champion is desperately trying to find funding before the series starts in Wales at the end of March.
Higgins says some of the Championship regulations, such as having just one tyre manufacturer, don't help keep costs down:-
