After taking a podium place at the recent Trackrod Rally Yorkshire, and that after a close encounter with a digger on one of the stages, Manx driver David Higgins has decided to stick with the Autotek Team for the Wales Rally GB.
He claimed a third place at the Pickering event in his first outing in the Suburu Impreza.
Wales Rally GB is the final round of the World Championship....but counts as the final two rounds of the British Championship. The first day will be the penultimate round...with the Saturday and Sunday counting as the last round.
With effectively double points on offer, David still has an outside chance of finishing third in the overall standings.
David's brother Mark and arch rival Guy Wilks will go head-to-head to decide the British title.
