
Manx driver Mark Higgins has been declared the provisional winner of yesterday's British Rally Championship round in Yorkshire.
His big rival Guy Wilks finished first......but Mark's team put in a protest about a technical infringement.
Wilks had his car examined, and organisers then took the decision to exclude him from the results. It's understood Mitsubishi will launch an appeal.
Manx Radio Rally correspondent Chris Boyd says the bitter rivalry between Higgins and Wilks, which has simmered all season, has now gone too far:-
