Kennish's 3-year-streak comes to an end
Darryl Hill has won his third Champion of Champions title with an 8-4 victory over John Kennish.
It brings Kennish's hold over the event to an end, which he has won for the last three years.
Hill finished the first session 4-3 ahead, in a session where multiple frames were won on the black and could have gone either way.
In the evening session, Hill found another gear and with Kennish only managing one more frame, Hill ran out an 8-4 winner, clearing the table with a 60 clearance in the final frame.
