Honda UK Racing boss Neil Tuxworth has confirmed to Manx Radio that the official HM Plant team will not compete at T.T. 2008.
Rumours of Honda pulling out have been rife on several motorcycle forums.
However, Honda will support several satellite teams and have not ruled out returning for 2009. The reason given was budgets had already been allocated.
Elsewhere, Michael Rutter will return to T.T. 2008 but not with Kawasaki. He has campaign a 1098 Ducati for John Hackett's Buildbase squad in next year's British Superbike Championship, the North West 200 and the T.T..
And it appears Martin Finnegan will switch to riding Yamahas by joining the JMF team with whom Conor Cummins excelled during the past season.
