The Men's and Ladies Hockey season resumes on Saturday after the Easter break.
However, the sport is celebrating winning the Team of the Year trophy at last Thursday night's Sports Awards gala ceremony at the Villa Marina for the Mens and Women's national sides performances in the County Championship and in both winning the Four Islands tournament against Bermuda, Guernsey and Jersey.
It's the third time in the six years of the Isle of Man Sports Council Awards that Hockey has won this prize. In 2001, it went to the National Mixed team and in 2005 Bacchanalians took the honour for their cleansweep of the league titles.
