Hockey: IoM junior teams to begin latest EH Championships campaigns

Five teams heading to the UK on Sunday

The Isle of Man's junior teams will begin their latest campaigns in the England Hockey Championship competitions this weekend.

Five teams across three age groups will head to England for their respective games on Sunday, 8 October.

The Under-14's boys will face Preston whilst the Under-14's girls travel to Garstang.

In the Under-16's age group, the girls squad take on Chorley Phoenix in Warrington whilst the boys are in Lancaster to play Oxton.

Elsewhere, the Under-18's girls face a challenging tie away at Bowdon in Manchester.

The Under-18's boys have a home draw in their competition but that won't take place this weekend - more details will be announced in due course.
