Hockey: Manx senior teams to begin latest EH Championship campaigns

Three Island sides heading to the UK this weekend (25 Oct)

Three Isle of Man senior national hockey sides will begin their latest England Hockey Championships campaigns today (25 October).

The Isle of Man Men's A, Men's B and Ladies B squads all head to the UK this afternoon to take part in the opening rounds of their respective competitions.

Contesting the EH Men's Tier 2 Trophy, the Men's A will face West Derby Men's 1st XI whilst the Men's B will open their account in the EH Men's Tier 3 Vase at Golborne & Prescot 2nd XI.

Elsewhere, the Ladies B side head to Merseyside to face Liverpool Sefton 2nd XI in the Women's EH Tier 3 Vase.

The Manx Ladies A team had also been due to compete this weekend in the EH Women's Tier 2 Trophy, however their opponents, Lymm Ladies 1st XI have conceded the fixture.
