Island players will represent performance centre in high-class tournament
Seven young Manx hockey players have been selected to take part in a high-class competition in England later this month.
Dom Hubble, Luca Parlato, Joseph Savage, Archie Cox, Martha Broderick, Lucie Sutterby and Ela Blakemore will all be involved in the Performance Centre Challenge Cup (PCCC) from 26-31 July.
The Island players will be part of the Fylde team which is one of 16 'performance centres' competing in the event which will be held at Nottingham Hockey Centre.
The PCCC is the conclusion to what is known as the 'Player Pathway' and provides valuable competition exposure and experience to up-and-coming players.
The tournament will be split into two parts - Under 15s teams will play between 26-28 July before the U17s squads then face each other from 29-31 July.
The Manx Hockey Association is congratulating all the Isle of Man players who've been chosen to take part.
