Report by Ben Cunningham:

League action takes a break this weekend as we see the first round of the MixedCup, Mixed Plate and Mixed Bowl.

In the Mixed Cup, Harlequins A play Valkyrs A - these two sides have already met in the league and Harlequins came away with the win, can they make it two out of two or will the westerners get them back in the cup after their good win over Vikings A last weekend in league action?

Meanwhile, Castletown Southerners meet Vikings A who will want to get back to winning ways after last weekend’s defeat whilst Southerners will be looking to cause a cup upset.

The current holders of the cup, Bacchas A, play Castletown Celts who know this will be a tough match against a team still yet to suffer a defeat.

In the Mixed Plate, Valkyrs C face Castletown Cammags in a match that could be very close, however Valkyrs C are looking the stronger of the two sides.

Elsewhere, Ramsey A - who have had a strong start in the league - face Bacchas C who haven’t had the best of starts.

In the Mixed Bowl, Vikings D play Ramsey Ravens in another game that I think could be very close and possibly end up going to penalty flicks to decide the outcome; Bacchas Colts face Vikings C; we have a Castletown Derby as Castletown Cosney and Castletown Cushags meet, and finally Valkyrs D play Harlequins C.

Any of these cup games - if they are all square at full-time - will go to penalty flicks to decide a winner.
