The Isle of Man TT Marshals Association has elected Terry Holmes to be their new chairman at their annual general meeting, following the decision of outgoing chairman Bill Carden to stand down.
Terry has been involved in marshalling for almost twenty years and became part of the committee in 2005.
He has also previously been on the Andreas Racing Committee for a number of years.
Terry says, "I am delighted that the organisation has shown this faith in electing me to such a prestigious role and I will do my best to build on the good work that Bill carried out as Chairman."
Gordy Moore becomes vice chairman, a position which Terry previously held.
Mike Barker will hold the dual role of Company Secretary and Treasurer and there are two new committee members, former Motorcycle Action Group committee man Andy Wightman and Eddie Christian, who has been involved with marshalling since the 1960s.
Former TT and MGP Clerk of the Course Neil Hanson and ex-Chairman Roger Hurst have been elected as patrons.
