Four Manx competitors to take part in sport in Guernsey
It's hoped this year's Island Games can be a platform to showcase the sport of sailing on the Isle of Man and those involved in it.
That's according to the Isle of Man sailing team manager as four Manx athletes - Ross Arnold, Jason Hyett, Elsie Hyett and Matthew Perry - are set to compete in the sport in Guernsey from Sunday (8 July).
Team boss, Donald Edwards, says Matthew and Jason have experience in the sport already whilst Ross and Elsie are two promising up-and-coming competitors.
Mr Edwards says the games are not just about immediate development of the athletes but also looking at the bigger picture for Manx sailing:
