Kim Dean represented IoM at 2022 Commonwealth Games
The Isle of Man's first ever para-athlete at a Commonwealth Games hopes para sports can continue to get greater exposure going into the future.
Kim Dean represented the Island in para-powerlifting in Birmingham earlier this year.
Now based away from Manx shores, Kim is looking to qualify for a spot in the Great Britain paralympic squad for the Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.
Speaking to Manx Radio's Marc Tyley, she says having para sports integrated with other disciplines at the Birmingham games was a great experience:
Powerlifting: Isle of Man to host Home Nations in 2026
Snooker: Blinders take victory to go top
Jiu-jitsu: Manx club planning to host international event
Hockey: Manx women's O45's beaten against Timperley
Nominations open for 2025 Isle of Man Sports Awards
