After weeks of speculation about his plans, it's been announced Ian Hutchinson will ride for the Padgett's Honda team at T.T. 2009.
The 29-year old will compete on the same Honda Fireblade Superbike that John McGuinness took to victory in last year's Senior race - it will be upgraded to this year's specification.
He will also have brand new Superstock and Supersport machines at his disposal.
Hutchinson has won one T.T. - the Junior race in 2007.
The deal with Padgett's is purely for the three International road meetings so includes the North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix.
However, he is still without a deal to compete in any of the British
Championships.
It's also been revealed H.M.Plant Honda riders John McGuinness and Steve Plater will represent the Padgett's team in the Superstock T.T., giving the Batley based outfit three riders in that contest.
