Eight-time T.T. winner Ian Hutchinson is praising his surgeons and support staff for getting him fit to race again.
As reported earlier this week, he has secured a late entry for next month's Macau Grand Prix.
In 2010, just months after making history at the T.T. by winning all five main solo races, he was severely injured in a crash at Silverstone.
He slid off in wet conditions and was hit by another rider while lying on the track - he suffered compound fractures to his left leg.
Hutchinson briefly resumed his racing career in 2012.
In an frank interview with Manx Radio, he has revealed he knew he needed more major surgery to treat a bone infection when he raced at T.T. 2012:-
