Manx Radio can confirm Ian Hutchinson will not be racing at TT 2011.
The Yamaha rider, who won an historic five races at the 2010 meeting, is still recovering from the injuries he sustained at Silverstone last September.
The eight-time TT winner suffered compound fractures to his leg and to date has undergone 16 operations and skin grafts.
Hutchinson will visit the Isle of Man during the TT to meet fans and help Yamaha with their 50th anniversary celebrations.
He will now target a return to the track in the British Supersport Championship later in the season.
