The damp and misty weather for much of the morning and afternoon played its part in this evening's TT practice session.
The first bikes got off on time at 6.20pm in bright, sunny and clear conditions, but there were still a number of wet patches around the course.

With the sidecars Manxman Dave Molyneux drove like a man possessed, clocking 114.3mph to throw down the gauntlet to his competitors.

They were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The pair who went off at Kerrowmoar last night, Keith Walters and Alun Thomas, were released from hospital this morning and were back out on the course tonight.
