Big Island contingent contested October event
A Manx kickboxing club is celebrating after taking a significant medal haul at recent competition in the UK.
Impact Kickboxing recently took part in the ICO World Championships (19-22 October) with competitors ranging from ten years old and upwards.
In total, the Island team went on to claim 12 medals at the event in Hull under the leadership of head instructor and six-time world champion, Dave Pearson.
There were two gold medals for Daniel Hansson who also claimed two silver - three more silvers were claimed by Archie McLeod, Leo Jones and Elleanor Jenkinson.
McLeod also secured one of the five bronze medals for Impact Kickboxing, the other four bronze were won by Zach Crellin, Andrew Jones, Scott Moran and David Jenkinson.
