Ingham heads top 20 for Senior MGP

Top contenders in 2022 returning for shot at victory

The top 20 seeded riders for the Senior MGP race have been confirmed for this year's Manx Grand Prix showdown in the class.

Leading the way this year at No.1 will be Daniel Ingham - he finished second to 2022 winner, Stephen Smith, who made the step up to the Isle of Man TT Races this year.

Joining Ingham are others who were directly involved in the battle for podium places - Victor Lopez, David McConnachy, Jamie Williams and Chris Cook will take No.2, No.3, No.4 and No.5 respectively.

Up at No.6 will be Andrew Fisher, closely followed by Manxman Marc Colvin at No.7 with Irishman Damian Horan setting off at No.8 - James Reveley and Tom Robinson round out the top ten at No.9 and No.10.

Meanwhile, No.11-No.13 will be occupied by Sam Johnson, Samuel Mousley and Jack Fowler whilst No.14 and No.15 slots are vacant this time around.

That means 30 seconds back from Fowler will be Radley Hughes at No.16 who'll set off ten seconds ahead of Shaun Evans at No.17.

The final three completing the top 20 lineup from No.18-No.20 will be Lancelot Unissart, Gaz Evans and Michael Rees respectively.

The Senior MGP race for 2023 is due to take place over four laps on Monday, 28 August at 11.30am
