
The Island Under 15's cricket team has continued its winning streak in the European Division Two Championships, defeating Germany by nine wickets.
Batting first, the Germans made 121 for 8 from their overs.
Max Marthur got the top score with 38, but Andrew Brown created an upset with four for 22.
Zaeem Jafri shone with a superb one for 9 from seven overs.
There were also wickets for Alasdair Slack, Ben Crookall and Alex Wilson.
A fine opening stand of 67 between Alex Stokoe and Richard Foden put the Island on the road to victory.
Richard was out for 30, but no more wickets were lost.
Stokoe and Jack Rowlands finished the game on 22 and 21 to seal the win for the side.
Today (Wednesday) the Island's skills will be put to the test as they take on top seeds, Jersey.
