Both reigning champions defend their titles
Defending Champions Paul Lowey and Shirley Price have both made it through to the finals of the 2019 Grant Thornton Isle of Man Golf Championship.
Lowey was too strong for first-time qualifier Mark Harrison on Douglas golf course last night, beating him by a margin of 5 and 4.
His final shot was an incredible 130-yard pitch in to the hole at the 14th.
It was a much closer match in the other semi-final, which saw Liam Cowin from the host club beaten by Ramsey's Jamie Arneil, who was 1 up after the full 18 holes.
In the Ladies Championships, Kayleigh Dawson was looking strong against defending champion Shirley Price, but the champion fought back and finally clinched the match by a margin of 2 and 1.
Meanwhile, the very experienced Lynda Simpson beat former champion Breeshey Jansen 4 and 3.
Sunday's finals will tee-off at midday - they see Paul Lowey take on Jamie Arneil and Shirley Price play Lynda Simpson to decide who are the 2019 Grant Thornton Isle of Man golf champions.
