First round of the British Junior Road Race series
The Equiom Isle of Man Junior Cycling team competed in the Cadence Road Race at the weekend.
It was the first round of the British Junior Road Race series, held in Powys, South Wales.
One hundred riders took to the start line for the 70-mile, eight-lap race, with 69 finishing.
The Equiom riders came home in the main bunch sprint with Adam Kelly 23rd, Max Walker 25th and Jimmy Bostock 39th.
The next round of the British Series is the Tour of the Mendips, which is based in the Bristol area, on 7 and 8 April.
The team selected is Jimmy Bostock, Adam Kelly, Adam Scarffe and Tosh Teare.
This race is held over three stages: a short time trial and two road stages, including the ascent of the Cheddar Gorge.
