Squad hopes to encourage more women to take up basketball
Ladies, have you ever watched the film Coach Carter and felt compelled to give basketball a try?
If so, you're in luck.
This Sunday, the Isle of Man Basketball Ladies team is putting on a free 'come and try it session' at the NSC.
From 3-4 you'll have the opportunity to learn skills, play games and meet new people.
The session is the second in recent weeks, after a high turn-out from the first in September.
There's currently only one women's basketball team on the Island, the players of which are hoping to encourage more ladies to join them in taking up the sport.
To find out more, you can contact the team on the IOM Ladies Basketball Team Facebook page.
