The Manx team for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next year has received a funding boost this lunchtime.
Isle of Man Sport has handed over a cheque for £15,000 to the Island's Commonwealth Games Association.
The Manx squad for Glasgow 2014 is expected to be the largest and strongest ever sent to a Commonwealth Games and is likely to include world names such as cyclists Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh.
There's a further boost with Isle of Man Sport providing a further £5,000 for each of the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2015 and 2017.
