Push for more women to take up the sport
It's all kicking off in St John's tomorrow (10 Sept).
Two Guernsey walking football teams are on Island competing in an all-day tournament against five Manx squads.
The comp is aiming to inspire more women into giving the sport a try.
Organiser and goalkeeper Pete Nash spoke to Rhian Evans:
The women's introductory session will be held at 11.40 at St John's Football Club, hosted by Guernsey's England walking footballer Jacqui Wheatley.
The main tournament will kick off with seven men's teams competing against each other from 12pm-5pm.
