Bowderyn Vannin members impress in Ireland
An archer from the Isle of Man became an international indoor champion last week.
John Angiolini competed for Scotland in the Senior Men Freestyle Limited Compound in County Waterford, Ireland which took place from the 2-6 March.
He has been crowned International Field Archery Association European Indoor Archery Champion in the event and also set a new Scottish record in the Flint Round.
Also competing for Scotland was Rose Sandilands who also set a new Scottish record in the Flint Class and secured a fifth place in the Veteran Women Freestyle Unlimited Class.
Elsewhere, Lesley Sleight took a bronze medal in the Veteran Ladies Longbow Class competing for England.
The competition saw over 460 archers from 21 countries compete at the SETU Arena.
