London 2012 Olympic organisers have named the Isle of Man as a pre-games training camp venue.
Four sports are favoured - road cycling, mountain biking, handball and shooting.
It means any country taking part could send athletes to the Island in the final few weeks ahead of London 2012.
Many southern hemisphere nations are expected to use the locations on offer to help their competitors acclimatise.
Andy Varnum is the Head of Sport and Recreation at the Department of Tourism and Leisure. He says details of the Island's sports facilities will be sent to every Olympic nation:-
