In an amazing match the Isle of Man lost to favourites Israel by just three wickets in the ICC Division Three Championships in Spain yesterday.
It seemed this would be a no-contest when the Island were dismissed for only 80, an innings which included four run-outs.
But the Manx bowlers hit back with a vengeance and reduced Israel to 26 for 6 after 25 overs.
However the Israelis hung on grimly and scraped home with 81 for 7 after 48 overs.
Garreth Roome took 3 wickets for 8 runs and Max Stokoe returned 3 for 19 in a great fight-back which just failed.
