The chief minister says 2011 will be another difficult year for the Isle of Man.
In his New Year message, Tony Brown says the coming twelve months will present more financial difficulties for government, but he believes the Island has the strength to keep moving forward.
He admits the general election in September will increase the pressure, but says the government will continue to work in the national interest.
