The Isle of Man dream is still alive.
That’s after the national side secured a place in the final of the FA Inter League Cup.
A 2-1 semi-final victory over the Southern Amateur League on Saturday led to celebrations for the Manx in front of more than 2,000 spectators at the Bowl.
After falling behind for the third round in a row to an impressive looking Southern outfit, Kevin Manning’s side hit back after the break through Ciaran McNulty before Frank Jones netted the winner.
The Island will meet either Jersey or Cheshire, who meet next week, in the final on April 28 at the Bowl.
Winger Chris Bass says everyone involved with the Island set-up is thrilled.
