Manx rider gives update and continues to receive treatment

Isle of Man motorcycle racer, Jamie Cringle is thanking people for their support as he continues his recovery from a crash at this year's Isle of Man TT Races.

The Island rider is continuing to receive treatment following an incident at Union Mills in the Supersport TT Race 2 on Friday, 5 June.

Previously, his brother, Ryan Cringle has been providing updates on Jamie's condition whilst a fundraiser has already raised tens of thousands of pounds to aid Jamie with his rehabilitation.

Now, in a short statement on social media, Jamie himself says: "Thank you to each and everyone of you that has donated so much", adding he intends to catch up on messages he's received in the coming weeks as recently he has not been able to use his phone.

The fundraising campaign set up to help Jamie with his recovery has already generated more than £44,000, exceeding the original target of £40,000.
