10 medals in total for Island team
Isle of Man Jiu-Jitsu club Summit Grappling Academy was successful in the IBJJF London International Open over the weekend (1-2 March).
The club brought home an impressive 10 medals which included three golds, three silvers and four bronzes and a third-place trophy in the Teen Division.
Current IBJJF European Champion Hanako Henson started nervously, as she lost her first match, but due to the bracket system she was still able to make the final and win gold and bounce back against her first opponent.
Marc Purcell also won the top honour again in just his second tournament after winning gold in Portugal back in October.
Junior competitor Alan Greenhalgh completed the set of golds for the Manx team after he impressed throughout the competition.
This was Summit Grappling Academy's third competition of the year and will be back in action in Manchester later this month.
