Manx athlete upgraded to gold medal
Manx runner Joe Reid is the new British Athletics indoor 800m champion.
He claimed the title in dramatic circumstances in Birmingham, having crossed the line in second place.
However, Jamie Webb from Liverpool was disqualified from the race for impeding another runner, granting the Manxman his gold medal.
His winning time was 1.48.41.
The focus for the 23-year-old now is to target a time below 1.48, to secure qualification for Team GB at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow.
