Manxman enjoyed positive breakthrough season in 2023
Isle of Man racer Joe Yeardsley is excited at the prospect of his TT debut this year after what he's described as an 'emotional rollercoaster' over the last twelve months.
2023 was a breakthrough year for the Manxman who took victories and lap records at last year's Pre-TT Classic Road Races and Manx Grand Prix as well as a podium finish at the Cain Road Race in Mexico.
Despite a crash during the recent Bob Smith Spring Cup in which he chipped a bone in his hand, he's optimistic he'll be fit to race on the Snaefell Mountain Course.
Whilst eager to prove himself, Yeardsley says he's staying grounded and is only focused on continuing his development at the racing fortnight:
Football: Castletown beat southern rivals to go top of Division 2
Rugby: Douglas continue strong run at Birkenhead Park
Hockey: Valkyrs B move to the top of Mixed Division One
Ravens go three unbeaten with win at City of Liverpool
Football: Tributes paid to 'admired and loved' Ramsey figure
