Jones wants Ravens to be 'better at being us"

FC Isle of Man take on Irlam in first away game of the season

FC Isle of Man travel to Salford today (30 July) as they take on Irlam FC in the first away game of the season in the NWCFL Premier Division.

'The Ravens' will take on the Manchester side at 7:45 PM, with the away side will looking to win for the first time at the Silver Street Stadium.

Manager Paul Jones has said he wants his side to be 'better at being us' as they look to put last weekend's result against Chadderton behind them.

However, Jones admits that Irlam will not be an easy test:

This will be the fifth meeting between the sides and last season the away side took four points off Irlam.

Sean Doyle was the only goal scorer in the January fixture as FC Isle of Man won the home fixture 1-0, however, Irlam kept their undeafeted record against the Manx side as the teams drew 1-1 in April.

There is only one change for 'The Ravens' as Dan Hattersley comes in to replace Sean Doyle in the squad.
