Football – and Douglas Royal women are celebrating after winning the Floodlit Cup for a record sixth time.
They produced an impressive second half fightback to see off Peel 3-2 at the Bowl yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
Trailing 2-0 at the break, Royal turned on the style to turn the match around with strikes from Rebecca Cole (two) and Donna Shimmin sealing the first major piece of silverware of the season.
Kira Buchan and Sarah Wignall had earlier been on target for Peel.
