Manx competitor adds to 2024 medal haul
Manx judo competitor Chris Horton has added another medal to his collection, this time during competition in Germany.
The Island athlete contested both the tachi-waza and ne-waza events at the 2024 Hamburg Veteran European Cup which took place yesterday (21 September).
Representing Great Britain, Horton impressed in the M3 U100kg class to take the bronze medal at the close of play whilst also registering a fifth-placed finish in the ne-waza section.
Isle of Man Judo is congratulating both Horton and the rest of the GB squad on their performances and is thanking those on Island for their support.
Elsewhere this year, Horton claimed a silver medal at the British Masters Championship in July, also in the M3 u100kg class.
Back in April, he and Sean Askin managed to scoop three medals between them at the 2024 Commonwealth Judo Championships in Malta.
