Horton now set to compete in Las Vegas
Isle of Man judo competitor Chris Horton has claimed yet another medal after winning in Dublin at the Irish Open.
Horton competed in the M3 open and u100kg classes but it was in the latter where the Manxman struck the winning blows to take the gold medal.
This victory follows the bronze medal he won in September in the Hamburg Veteran European Cup.
The judoka is now due to represent Great Britain in Las Vegas at the World Veterans Championships.
Elsewhere this year, Horton claimed a silver medal in July at the British Masters Championship, as well as two silver medals at the 2024 Commonwealth Judo Championships in Malta.
